After tuning for each fuel the file is saved and we burn to a chip that can hold up to 16 programs. We installed a map switcher that fits in the stock clock housing and this allows you to use the hour and minute buttons to switch between programs. We also include a no start map and a valet map that limits the RPM to 3500 and top speed to 45 MPH. We have very refined programs for just about any set up, so it normally takes about 3 to 10 pulls for each fuel to dial in the programs. The AFC is not a great way to tune as it piggy backs on the front side of the ECU by changing the MAF voltage going into the ECU. This changes the fuel for the RPM you set at all load levels above the % throttle the AFC is set to and this is typically everything above 50% throttle. Making changes this way will change where you are in the load map and can change timing at the same time that is not typically optimal. The AFC is better than nothing if the A/F is off, but with much better control in tuning available for fairly low cost the AFC is fairly obsolete. Evan is just running the AFC at zero change and only running it to use 2 MAF as he bought the AFC before the Selin translator was available.
